Jocelyn Dunn, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a board certified surgeon specializing in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. She graduated from Stanford University in 1983 with a B.S. in Medical Microbiology and received her M.D. from Harvard Medical School in 1987. Dr. Dunn completed her residency and chief residency in 1992 at Stanford University Hospital.
Dr. Dunn has had a private surgical practice in Palo Alto for 28 years. She specializes in the treatment of benign and malignant breast disease. Her office is equipped to handle all patient needs specifically for the comprehensive treatment of breast disease. Dr. Dunn and her staff are dedicated to making each patient’s journey from initial evaluation and diagnosis to surgical treatment as seamless as possible. In addition, her decades of practice at Stanford have enabled her to develop strong and beneficial relationships in the larger cancer care community. By working very closely with trusted specialists in Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology, Dr. Dunn will personally coordinate the care plan designed to achieve the very best medical and cosmetic outcome for you.
In addition to breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Dunn also treats a range of other conditions including but not limited to: breast lumps, breast cysts, breast pain, atypical ductal and lobular hyperplasia, nipple discharge, breast infections, gynecomastia, hereditary breast cancer syndromes, genetic testing for breast cancer, high risk patient assessment and follow up, and breast cancer prevention strategies.
